The red Tibetan murals on our bright gold building announce the presence of something exotic in Portland’s Pearl District.  Take sanctuary from the buzz of downtown traffic and enter through the painted archway, where Buddha, smiling and serene, presides over our statue garden, inhabited by bronze Hindu deities, stone fu dogs, celadon urns and garden troughs of all descriptions.

Further exploration reveals delicate Chinese altar tables, rustic Mongolian chests and rare painted Tibetan cabinets. Indian architectural salvage and primitive Japanese teak benches share the densely packed aisles with Afghani tribal jewelry, South American textiles, and even Megalodon shark tooth fossils.

An enormous collection of African masks, doors and spears adorn the walls. We stuff, stack, pack and hang endless goodies of the Asian persuasion in this lofty 5,000 sq ft. reclaimed warehouse space, right off I-405, near downtown Portland. This, our third store, opened for business in November 2001 and has since gathered a following of designers, builders and regulars who drop by often to pounce on the latest arrivals.
